Is this offensive?

Discuss. Maybe baby slings are seen differently in Germany than in the States. It's not really a trend here, but it's also not that uncommon. And slings are usually associated with tree-huggin', compostin', armpit-not-shavin' mothers. I found this here, which is a blog I stumbled upon and is really worth reading.

Which reminds me; I have to go figure out how to wrap mine before the baby slithers out... But trust me: The pits are shaved!

P.S.: Björn will be doing most of the slinging around here anyway. And he's all for it.

Whoooeeeeeeee they got backlash for this piece of shite b/f they yanked it. I get the idea that babywearing can make your shoulders/back sore (usually due to doing it incorrectly, but whatever), but this was a seriously unwise spin.

So, uh, yes. I think it is offensive. :)

I did not think it was offensive, however, as I do not own:
1. Baby
2. Baby sling
I'm thinking my opinion is null and void.

What was the part that was the most incendiary?

Hey, while I do own a sling, I do not yet own a baby, so I think my opinion here is also invalid. But, to be honest, it takes a lot to offend me. Like good beer served warm. That's offensive. Or, the way I looked when I tried to put on my normal bikini about 7 months into pregnancy: To quote my husband, "That's offensive."
