Still Crazy After All These Years ... in Germany

Another Thanksgiving here in Krautland, which means today was just another Thursday. I also forgot that today was kind of a big eating/football watching/Macy's big-ass balloons kind of holiday today, since the Germans don't really celebrate the fourth Thursday in November. I can't say that I really miss the tradition all that much, considering what it meant in my small family: Mom putting a Butterball into the microwave and sprinkling some French's french-fried onions over fresh-out-of-the-can green beans.

We're having meatloaf tonight.
