Oh, but here I am, wasted away in Germaritaville, searching for my lost shaker of Salz.
I was just thinking about life back in the good ol' US of A, thankful that finally, after six years, my good countrymen and -women have finally wised up, at least a little bit. Wednesday was quite a day here. Ah, democrats here, democrats there, and then, Rumsfeld standing in line down at the unemployment office. Schadenfreude? All I can say is that those Germans really do have a word for everything. My personal highlight on Wednesday was during Bush's first press conference, when he said he had contacted a republican interior designer to help Nancy Pelosi pick out drapes for her new office. Sigh.
