There are some days at work when I just cannot handle spending my lunch break with the other gals, who are quite happy to spend the time talking about their bladder infections and various other states of unwell...being. So I've been spending more and more time at McFit, the fast-food chain of fitness studios. It's a bare-bones kind of joint with no classes, just equipment. A five-minute shower will cost you 50 cents, but hey, I am not there for a hose down. I go to the produce section of the supermarket for that.Anyway, the other downside is the craptastic music they play. Before I could stuff my earphones in, I was subjected to a techno version of Tom Petty's Learning to Fly. Those Europeans really do have a way with sound.

Yeah, them Euros are always taking a good idea not far enough.
