Today would be fine, too

So kiddo, since you missed your own due date, I think the 18th is also good. My birthday is also on the 18th of the month, and my best friend back in elementary school was born today 30 years ago.

Maybe you don't want to come out because you hear a lot of yelling and barking. That's just your father watching German soccer and your dog sister Lilly getting angry at anyone who comes within a 10 foot radius of our apartment. And that goes for the busy 6-lane street out front. But, look at them:
They're looking forward to finally meeting you. This is how they've been passing the time. Do you really want to drag this out any longer?

P.S.: Never fight your father over pig's ears. You just can't win.

I'm glad you call Lilly the dog sister... we too call our cat, Scheile Samaire's sister. We draw the line at the fish tho... does that make us speciesists?

Have you tried constant US rock and pop music being played loudly at all times? It seems to work at disorienting prisoners at Gitmo, maybe she'll go mad and try to escape?

Enjoy the experience of meeting your little one, it really is amazing.

Good idea, Sam. We've decided to try to gas her out with spicy Indian food tonight. And if that doesn't work, then ... well, I don't know.

And fish are assholes, so that doesn't make you guys bad folk.

Y'know Bjorn's got some ol' prostaglandins that could kick start this as well, right? ;)

Yeah, but Björn's unwilling to fill up a turkey baster for me...

I'm assuming since there's no new post today that you're either in labor or have already pop'd that kid out! Congrats!

Welcome to the world baby S. Hope all is well. Look forward to the pics.
